Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Kororā mobile app and the korora.app website, including shared listing pages (together, "the Service"), provided by Kororā ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Kororā does

Kororā helps you turn photos of items you own into ready-to-post marketplace listings using AI, and optionally publish them as a shareable web page. Kororā is a listing-creation tool — it is not a marketplace itself, and is not involved in any sale, payment, or transaction between you and a buyer.

No account required

There's no sign-up. Each install is identified only by an anonymous device identifier — see our Privacy Policy for details on what that means for your data.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos and listing details you create. By using the Service, you give us permission to process, store, and (only if and when you choose to "Share to web") publicly display that content, solely to provide the Service to you. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use and share any photo or content you submit.

AI-generated content

Titles, descriptions, categories, conditions, and prices suggested by Kororā are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your item. You're responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated content before posting it anywhere or sharing it with a buyer. We don't guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated suggestions, including price estimates.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kororā to:

• list items that are illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or that infringe someone else's intellectual property;
• attempt to bypass, exploit, or abuse the free-usage limits or any other technical restriction of the Service;
• upload photos or content that is unlawful, abusive, or that you don't have the right to use;
• use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or overburden it.

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

Third-party marketplaces and services

Kororā helps you prepare listing content to paste or share into third-party marketplaces (such as TradeMe, Facebook Marketplace, eBay, or Avito) or send to a buyer directly. Those platforms — and any transaction, communication, or dispute with a buyer — are governed entirely by their own terms, not ours. We are not a party to, and have no responsibility for, any sale or interaction that happens outside the Service.

Shared listing pages

If you choose to "Share to web," you're publishing that content to a public web page that anyone with the link can view. You're responsible for the content of anything you choose to share this way.

Free usage limits and support

Kororā offers a limited number of free AI-generated listings per device; this limit may change at any time. If you choose to support the app (e.g. via the in-app "tip" feature), that support is voluntary and non-refundable, and doesn't create any ongoing obligation on our part beyond what's described in the app at the time.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any specific marketplace's requirements.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any loss arising from a transaction with a buyer, inaccurate AI-generated content, or reliance on the Service's price estimates.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.

Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service at any time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app.
